ABOUT OUR VESSEL
The Palmilla is a brand-new, fully custom 60-foot catamaran, designed to comfortably cruise San Diego Bay with up to 49 passengers. Its large open deck with 8′ ceilings functions perfectly as a dance floor or gathering space, and features a customizable layout that can be transformed into an elegant seated dinner party for up to 20 guests.
Our premium 10-speaker VOID Acoustics sound system is powered entirely by a high-capacity battery system, eliminating the noise, vibration, and fumes of traditional generators. Professional Pioneer DJ equipment is also integrated directly into the DJ booth, allowing seamless operation without additional setup.
Built on a wide-beam catamaran hull, The Palmilla was designed to exceed all USCG safety standards. The vessel offers comfortable seating for 30, expansive bow and stern sun-lounging areas, and two onboard bathrooms. For a limited time, we are also offering the lowest hourly rate of any 49-passenger vessel in San Diego, delivering an unmatched combination of design, capability, and value.

The charter can go really anywhere you like within San Diego Bay. Normally we cruise by all of the major sights and monuments between Point Loma and Downtown San Diego, and then under the Coronado Bridge.
The deposit is 15% of the total cost. This must be paid upon booking and the remaining amount is due 72 hours before your charter date.

Drone Filming: Guest-operated drones are prohibited. The Palmilla operates in a dynamic no-fly zone, with extremely limited legal launch points. Drone footage is available only through Palmilla-provided pilots who coordinate directly with the captain to obtain required shots. Fees apply.
DSLR / Production Filming: All professional filming equipment requires prior administrative approval. The Palmilla must be listed as additionally insured on the production’s insurance policy. Filming intended for distribution is prohibited without explicit authorization. Cell phone photos and videos are permitted.
Every charter includes a USCG-certified captain, 2-3 friendly crew members, a beer and wine bar, two bathrooms, premium VOID Acoustics sound system with Bluetooth, and lifejackets.
Currently our regular charter pricing starts at $800/hour with a 3 hour minimum. Dinner parties start at $1,100/hour with a 2 hour minimum.
The Palmilla is a 60′ Catamaran which provides a very smooth, stable ride. While it is still possible to get seasick, it is a rare occurrence.
The max capacity is 49, and there is seating for about 30 people.

We require all cancellations to be made at least 21 days prior to the scheduled departure time to receive a full refund. Cancellations within 21 days of the charter will forfeit the deposit. Any cancellations made within 72 hours before the charter will forfeit the full amount of the contracted services and are non-refundable.
The Palmilla has a full deck enclosure that can be deployed in the event of rain. Trips will still run in the event of light rain, however trips may be canceled due to high winds or unsafe conditions.
If a trip is canceled by Palmilla Charters for any reason, you will have the option of receiving a voucher for a future trip or receiving a full refund.
Please note that failure to show for the reserved trip without cancellation will result in no refund.
